No Traffic Jams
You won't find traffic jams in Wagener. There is just one traffic light, and it works fine most of the time. Of course, if you come to town when there's a parade, you might have to wait 20 minutes or so for the parade to pass.
Things To Do
Wagener boasts two grocery stores, a full-service bank, a pizza parlor (Pizza Stop), two auto parts stores, an attorney, a chiropractor, several service stations, and much more. Wagener is the home of Wagener-Salley High School. In the fall, football fever draws the town to watch the War Eagles squash their competition.
